Google: Products absolutely suck.
and I'm pretty sure IE is the cleanest if you look at top page layout.
You do realise Google have the greatest search engine in the world on pretty much any metric you care to name?
@issoisso: I always like to hear web developers talk about IE6. It's always nice to hear how great it was having to make everything backwards compatible to IE6.
Wait, great may not be the word I was after.

Besides the fact that it's completely filled with ads everywhere. And they now intergrate results based on advertising alone... and you'll never know when.

I don't trust Google or Apple, they track everything you do.
Seeing as Microsoft is a concurrent of Google and Apple, they probably do that too.
I should start using Opera

Actually, Google are completely open about how they're ads work. They have specific areas when you search where adverts are (which are always highlighted), and do not allow for payment to promote in the "actual" search part of the page. If you knew anything about why Google was a success, you'd know why they don't do that.

Have you heard of Google shop? Because the results from that are now completely based on who ays Google the highest amount in certain categories, not relevance. It even says so in the defined print in a few menu navs.

Google shop =/= Google search engine.
Google shop is a price aggregator.

No, it is a price aggregator and comparison website. Just because it allows you to search for products does not make it the Google search engine.
Type your product into Google search. That's a search for products

It's usable in a browser. With collaborative editing. That is very much not primitive. And also means it doesn't "suck".
Although glitchy (much less so recently) I'll accept.

Don't I recall from reading the forum in forum suggestions that someone was getting porn ads on PCM.Daily?
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

And that's a bad thing because....?
Google uses several analytics to decide what ad to display. Including user browser history...

The companies you are speaking about are only as evil as the people will allow them to be (or how stupid people are). Majority of people are okay with being sheeps and being controlled by new technologies and they will buy every piece of crap that is served to them as the revolution and move to the future.
You dont like Google, Microsoft, Apple? Dont use their products..simple. I bought myself a cell phone with android and google stuff and first thing i did was blocking the GPS tracking, which gives away your exact location.
Apple is perfect sign of todays world. To the opposite of the past decades, almost everyone in first world (Europe, America, part of Asia and Africa) can afford piece of modern technology and can feel like they are having the best thing available and feel like noblemen. Unfotunately for them, Apple is just twice overpriced machine, with same functions as others. But it is cool to have one, every hipster need one Apple product, so let them buy it and pay for it...
And Google glasses? If this will become reality and it will be allowed to wear on the streets, i will attack everyone who wears them and i will smash the glasses on the ground. I dont want Big Brother, it begins with glasses and ends with Ministry of Love.

I see we have gotten quite liberal with the use of the word "evil".
My I ask, if Google and Apple are evil, what was Hitler?
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"
