I think I could have had a shot at the Nationals as well, was feeling good after a lot of training and jumping a new PB (Main event is triple). Oh well...
If your main event is triple, why do you do hurdling??? I am mighty confused!
Sprints and triple already doesnt make a lot of sense (thats what I "do" , but hurdles? That is just suicide for your body. Afterall, it is widely agreed upon that triple jumpers max out at 25-26 and their jumping career is almost over at 27-28, cause the knees cant take the abuse anymore...
With hurdles, you just inrease that abuse (unless you ment hurdle drills, which makes 90% of this post useless)...

I'm not a hurdler, on the track I do 1500m. My club was doing a hurdles race and hadn't done it for a year so I decided to join in (bad idea )
Thanks guys

You are making less sense every minute
1500 and TJ? How do you train for that??? I mean middle distance speedwork is what us sprinters call easy pace at 70-80%, or to put it in better persepective: our endurance sessions during the winter! But you need a quick acceleration for the TJ... Thats at least how I jump: Flat out sprint and then, much like jonathan edwards, low jumps carrying the speed (natural sprinter with potential for jumps is what my coach said )

The problem is that if I hit the smileys 'button', or the 'make things bold button', or the 'make url's clickable button', or the 'make text centered button', or any button at all, then I get linked to the first post of the thread, while I'm just trying to reply a post.
For example, I typed the smiley behind meanie just by putting : and ( together instead of clicking on the smiley, otherwise I got linked. (I wanted to put the angry smiley there, but I don't know the code for that, and I can't click the smileys button, that's the problem.
Works fine at my end, both in Firefox and Chrome.

Yeah, used to work fine as well with me, but now it suddenly doesn't.
Have changed the Chrome options over & over trying to fix it, but it won't work, also re-installing doesn't work.
Anyway, switched to Firefox for now, and that works fine.

Yeah, it worked for me all the time. It's something in my browser settings I guess, idk.
But forget about it, switched to Firefox, and works now

I was having a discussion with a friend of my mine who isn't that into cycling. He is coloured and was wondering if there were any coloured cyclists at the top level and the only one I could think of was Teklehaimanot.
Are there actually anybody else?

Yes it does.
IE is awesome. firefow is good. Chrome sucks almost as bad as Safari, which is an abomination.
