Or keep them about the same.
For instance, I've got a Wilco Kelderman avatar for a long time, but switch between them once in a while(last one was really ugly and pixelated, this one is okay)
I'm just waiting for Wilco to win a race(stage) in a Blanco shirt, that'd make the perfect avatar
But anyone has the same problem as I have(posted 3 posts above)
Firstly, i'll be sticking with women for a while now And i always look at the name to see who posted
Second, more likely to fina pic of Kelderman crashing
Third, to link to a direct post you have to click the #number of the post first, then copy the url (thats what i do)
Meanie.
But that's not really the problem.
The problem is that if I hit the smileys 'button', or the 'make things bold button', or the 'make url's clickable button', or the 'make text centered button', or any button at all, then I get linked to the first post of the thread, while I'm just trying to reply a post.
For example, I typed the smiley behind meanie just by putting : and ( together instead of clicking on the smiley, otherwise I got linked. (I wanted to put the angry smiley there, but I don't know the code for that, and I can't click the smileys button, that's the problem.

What the hell?!
In the Netherlands, I believe thats forbidden
Really?
I checked some national surveys and according to those, the national average is;
20% get an improved grade
60% stay where they are
20% get a worse grade
I believe she might have been lying to me.
are you sure she didn't say worse mark? it could be that alot of people wanting a remark are only 1 or 2 points off the next level and end up getting a worse score but the same grade.
e.g. boundary for an A is 70 and for a B is 60, someone gets 69 and wants a remark, then it comes back as a 67 so it's a worse mark but same grade.
60, 70? What are you talking about?
Not sure how marks are done in Norway, but for arguments sake let's say they are percentages. So if you need 70% of the marks to get a Grade A and 60% of the marks to get a Greade B and get 69% and ask for a remark then you could actually end up on 67% which is still a B so you've not lost a Grade but have a worse mark.

That's how grades work till 9th grade. 0 to 100. After 10th grade, it's 0 to 20.
9th grade? This is a university.

Grades are 1-10(well, 0-10, but never heard of someone getting under an 1, since ruining the whole test is still an 1)
5.5 is the border of failing/passing.
% varies though.
Languages have 80% as an 5,5, others mostly have 65/60% for a 5,5.
Oh, just realized, that the % differs per school level as well.
That's good. It's all this "70% is an A" or something that I dislike...
I was plucking the actual numbers out of the air as I don't know them seeing as I left school over 2 years ago now, but we basically use the same system as you, but it might be different numbers.
I was trying to explain how your score could be worse after a remark but your grade the same because

the teacher in the above quote could have said mark or in the case of the US grade system percent instead of Grade, if so then both that and the below could be true and the teacher wasn't necessarily lying.
And I was trying to prove how both the quote above and the quote below could both be true but tbh it's proved harder then I thought it would.

I'll give it another go using the system below that every seems to agree is easy and makes sense, anything from 80% to 89% and anything in between would be a grade B, and 90% an A, or am I misunderstanding that?
NTTHRASH wrote:
I like the US grading. 90% is always an A, 80% always a B, 70% a C, 65% a D, 64% and lower is failing. Easier to understand.
If so, then someone who gets 89% and asks for a remark in England ends up on the % of their remark, they can't take the higher one, meaning they could drop to 87% which is still between 80% and 89%, so still a B, but is actually worse then the 89% they previously had. Meaning they still have a B but a worse B then if they didn't ask for a remark, thus proving that more then 50% get a worse Percent but 60% get the same grade after a remark.

It seems to be a computer problem. I don't have it on my mobile phone, and the same happens at youtube video's, when I try to 'view comment'(or something like that), when someone comments on another comment on the vid, and I try to get to the comment where the other one is reacting on.
The url of the video appears then, but when I click 'view comment', nothing happens though, but I can see that the link appears.
Also, I downloaded a file from 4shared, and I used the premium download(it's faster, but it uses a download manager). The download manager messed up my internet browsers(Chrome, and I just tried, also IE), giving me a different start-page etc.
Fixed that at Google Chrome -> options, but this still happens.
Also, just checked on IE, the same problem(youtube video's and clicking PCMdaily buttons) doesn't occur there.
Anyone having experience on this? Do I have to re-install chrome now?
Chrome has serious problems with Faceboook (for my computer). I am starting with Mozilla now. Maaan, i opened Facebook page and it stucked on loading, can't even exit whole program now. ( I know, i did with task manager, but its few clicks except only 1,which makes you feeling nervous and angry!).
Anyway, I think I might send in a complaint about my grade and hope for the best.
From my point of view I've been 1) judged on wrong grounds, and 2) the reason given does in no way reflect my grade.
Perhaps it was a C, but there's no way it was a D. I've been studying here for 3 years and never, not once, have I recieved critisicm for the way I wright an exam when it comes to the use of litterature nor my "layout". This course though is being held by a different faculty than my usual one so maybe they have different expectations...

Broke my leg today while doing the hurdles, ending my Athletics and Cricket seasons
I think I could have had a shot at the Nationals as well, was feeling good after a lot of training and jumping a new PB (Main event is triple). Oh well...

Yeah, Alak why did you remove your avatar? We're getting confused, with issoisso suddenly having an avatar, and TMM suddenly having a girls avatar, and Pellizotti & you both having no avatar, and now, Pelli has an avatar, but you're the one without an avatar.
Confused
Btw, when I click a smiley, making a text bold, wanting to make an url clickable etc(so clicking the bar that's under this while typing this, then I get linked back to the first post of the topic every time.
Anyone having the same? It really annoys me.
I agree. I keep wondering who the new member is when isso posts because I'm so used to him not having an avatar.
