Gotta laugh about Matt Leigh being dropped, looking forward to writing his blog later. Let's just say he is very much in the dog house!

Good to see Dani Moreno looking alert and active near the front of the bunch in his first race for a new team. Startlist is indeed looking very packed but the top 5 goal should be achievable.

Not a bad start for Greipel, but he can, and will do better

Not bad from Heino, not bad at all!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Great for Champion System that Kakhi finishes in 5th. Much more than I could have asked for in such a strong field...
Though I really wonder why Kusnezov finishes behind pack - almost in last.

Qatar is set to start today with race highlight style reports (3-4 screens), hope no one minds too much.

Okay, I still have that jersey problem with PCM 14. Most teams wear that standard jersey, hope I can fix it. If not, I might need someone else to take over.

Problem solved. It created a new subfolder in the jerseys folder instead of just putting the jerseys in there the way they belong.

Hello and welcome to the highlights from todays stage of the Tour of Qatar. The breakaway today consisted of three riders who only got a gap relatively late on. Their names: Morris (TNN), Boev (RVL) and Amorison (CRE). They might have hoped that the very strong crosswinds would help them, but they got caught with 12km to go. At the same time the peleton was split in two, allthough all favourites made the cut.
With 3500 metres to go, it was Orica who had the best position, going for Goss. Behind him were Brookes (BAR), Kawasaki (AND), Demare (FDJ) and Ferrari (LAM). A bit behind, Sky were trying to get a train going for Cavendish, behind whom was Ciolek (MTN).
Under the flamme rouge, it was clearly going to be Goss, Demare, Kawasaki, Brookes or Cavendish...
Demare takes an easy win for FDJ. Cavendish came fast, but he was too far behind. It's understandable that his leadout isn't perfect yet, since it's only his second race for Sky, but he'll be annoyed nonetheless. Third is Goss after a superb leadout from Matthews, while Boasson Hagen comes out of nowhere to take fourth. Kawasaki and Brookes come fifth and sixth.

Great start for Demare, need him to step up this season. The high winds make this a good race for someone like him. Very nice to win without a lead-out as well. Plus 5 in the Top20 (not that it gives points, just awesome). The startlists makes me hopeful of more future success in this race as well

Go Demare! Go Goss! Go break! Stop Cav
Very weak startlist for sprinter-paradise Qatar. A bit sad that I didnt applied.

I like this race highlight style. Better this than letting us wait and delaying other races.
NetApp or Calzone would have been fun here.

Solid start for Phinney, though the lack of any good classics teams mean the race won't be hard enough for him. No idea how GVA and Hushovd got dropped when Bookwalter didn't.
