Nice sprinting, Kittel..
It's so typical, when we have no sprinter we don't get in the breakaway. When we do have a top sprinter, my guys go attacking.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ah, 11th place. Hello, old friend. I'm pretty happy with that stage for once. Going for the 1-2 with GVA-Phinney.

Heino sprinting ok, just need to crack the GC!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Stage 7 San Luis - Juana Koslay 150km
Apologies for the lower graphics today, the stage wouldn't load otherwise.
The final stage of the race, where Peter Sagan is the favourite to take his third stage win and confirm his dominance on the mostly flat route. Other sprinters who could take a stage win include, Ciolek, Modolo, Bos, Schnaidt, Belletti, Hutarovich, Davis, Swift and Veelers but it'll take a lot of luck to topple Sagan, aside from that, there is a category 3 climb early in the race, which could easily allow a change in the Mountains jersey lead, with Davide Rebellin just 2 points behind the leader. The actual course today will take on a bit of a lap format, with the two sprints in the same spot.
The start of the final stage, 150km are left in this years tour de San Luis.
Cárdenas (Lampre) gives a desperate sprint, knowing that 1st means a tie in the classification, but he went too late and Friedemann (Champion) crossed the line first, Rebellin's CCC teammate Rutiewicz (CCC) comes in third. Meaning that Dimitriou keeps the jersey, baring a mechanical incident or crash for Sagan, all of the classifications are finalised. just the stage win left now.
Lots of break attempts are still going and just by being in them, Nelson Oliveira (Trek) wins the intermediate sprint, Zardini (Netapp) and Herklotz (Belkin) follow him over the line.
It takes 50km for a proper break to establish itself, finally, with 100km to go, a 9-man break containing, Madrazo (Caja), Day (UHC), Herklotz (Belkin), Oliveira (Trek), Zardini (NetApp), Teklehaimanot (Lampre), Rutkiewicz (CCC), Corti (Colombia) and Boev (Rusvelo), is away.
5 riders are down! Montaguti (Ag2r), Clancy (Novo), Pagani (Ag2r), Raeymakers (Novo) and Cárdenas (Lampre) hit the deck, Lampre have sent back 4 riders to help them get to the peloton. So they shouldn't have any trouble getting back.
The break isn't interested in the intermediate sprint and Zardini is first across the line, he is followed by Boev and Teklehaimnot. 85km left.
The peloton isn't giving the stage up today, with 20km to go the break only has a minute.
10km for the break and they are still out in front, it doesn't look like they'll stay away much longer though.
With 5km left Madrazo goes, Bardiani and Giant are the only teams chasing at the moment and they just can't catch the break.
2km left, Silvio Herklotz attacks! The peloton have just caught the rest of the break and Madrazo has blown up, it's Herklotz against the peloton now.
1km left and the sprinters start to catch Herklotz, he's still going for it though, Ciolek and Schnaidt are neck and neck in the sprint, with Swift still in it, all the other sprinters are too far back now.
Herklotz is caught, he was so close, Ciolek is in first now, Schnaidt is right next to him, just out of picture, Swift has just pulled out from behind Ciolek!
And on the line it's...Ben Swift! A few centimetres put him in front of Ciolek. Schnaidt is third and Sagan pulls off an impressive sprint from way back for 4th, while Modolo and Veelers take 5th and 6th for the hard of their teams, Harrini is 7th, Bos finishes 8th, a little further back because his teammate was up front, while Giraud and Cimolai are 9th and 10th repectively.
Ben Swift timed his sprint to perfection for Sky's second stage win of the race.
Peter Sagan takes the yellow jersey with a dominating race, he also won the green and white jerseys.

Poor Silvio, so close
Glad this is finished, it lacked a bit of pace, but the reports were definitely good to read!
EDIT: Any chance for full team rankings? Interested in how much we were behind.

Except i never saw X Rider in the results/the intermediate points are wrong, guess the whole race will need re-doing

Do you honestly want that?
Although I can understand your confusion with sprint points, Marc de Maar came 4th?!
