Did you count the intermediate sprints as well? I mean, surely you could've seen something was wrong after the first stage when there were no points given?

I didn't notice because I didn't bother to look at the sprint standings, I just thought it was odd that there was no contest. But yes I do have the results of the intermediates.

Ok, if you can add them manualy, then continue. If not, just restart and give us the ICL-like reports with only a finish photo and the exports.

Or would it better to go back one day so the GC bonuses are correct before the time trial?

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

TBF it changes quite a lot. A rider picks up IS or KOM or Bonus seconds on Stage 1, they are more likely to go and compete for those competitions on Stage 2 and beyond. It can change quite a way of how the race plays out.

If we are going to re-do one stage because of how it affects the GC, you have to re-do all the stages because of how it affects the GC, Points and KoM competitions.
The best way to do that is with the ICL style reports, and i look forwards to seeing a new full export of the opening stages so i can gauge how Krista is doing.

Unless there's a volunteer to take over, seeing as you lack spare time?

I am delighted to see Viviani won a stage in Tirreno, he has done the team proud, with our first bunch sprint win of the season.

Vali
I'm sorry to say this, but because of some sudden personal issues I can't continue to manage AG2R any longer. I'm especially sorry for Jandal and Matt because they have got a rider on my soon to be former team. I hope that a new manager will be found soon and will continue our quest for promotion. It was really great to be part of this great intiative, so an extra thanks to Ollfardh and all the other maangers.

I've already got the startlists for part 2 and 3 ready so if noone will take over AG2R then these could potentially be used.
Thanks again,
Vali

Don't really lack spare time anymore. I'll start playing this evening and hopefully I'll get the majority of reports done on the weekend.

Also, sad to hear Vali. Hope everything's alright and hopefully we'll see you back some time Smile

SSJ2Luigi
Tirreno – Adriatico – Stage 7
San Benedetto del Tronto – San Benedetto del Tronto

We end the Tirreno with same way we started, with a race against the clock. The main difference is that riders need to do it alone instead of working together with their teams. The general classification is unlikely to change due to the short distance covered today, only 10 km. we start with the first favorite of the day, Taylor Phinney. Niki Terpstra (OPQ) is leading at the moment with 13’10”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0197_zps7oimppt7.jpg

BMC’s hope for the second stage win after Hanzen, Taylor Phinney (BMC) is the first big favorite at the start. Despite his status as favorite, he’s only able to match Terpstra time. He is given the advantage though. 13’10”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0196_zpsnm6naok6.jpg

Lars Boom starts immediately after Phinney and might take some advantage because of it as it provides a good aiming point in front of him. This advantage gives a huge time deficit at the finish. At least 26 seconds later. 12’43”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0198_zpsp5wzlbnq.jpg

Orica – GreenEDGE didn’t have the greatest Tirreno so far but they put fate in Luke Durbridge to give themselves some well needed points. Durbridge can only achieve 6th provisionally. 33 seconds slower than Boom. 13’16”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0199_zpsanw3d9jv.jpg

Jordan Birtles is the first of the Garmin favorites to start, probably providing valuable information for fellow Brit, Bradley Wiggins. The time set by the young rider is good for 2nd provisionally. 12’43”.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0200_zpsmoqfvnls.jpg

Lieuwe Westra, former dutch national champion, is looking to prove that he’s a former national champion, losing that title to Kelderman last year. with Boom currently in the hot-seat it is a true dutch battle. The Giant rider lost this one as 5th is only what’s achievable. Behind teammate Gretsch even. Westra’s time 13’01”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0201_zpsmj6lhsng.jpg

Like mentioned in the first stage, Sky is full of time trial specialist. Geraint Thomas is one of the better riders on the team in that aspect. The time set by him was disappointing to say the least. 13’12” meaning 12th place.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0202_zpsbbhbruej.jpg

Bradley Wiggins had his teammate Birtles starting earlier today and we know get to see if that paying off. Seeing that his time is even slower than his teammates, it appears the years are catching him faster than he would like. 12’56”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0203_zpstlvwfz0m.jpg

Boasson Hagen is the last rider from the favorites to start that is not in the top of the GC. The Sky rider is also able to break the 13 minute limit with 12’52”. he’s currently at 3rd place.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0204_zpsjkhndluc.jpg

Simon Spilak is just on the border of the top 10 in the GC and might be able to take it due to Yates in-ability to time trial to the Spilak’s level. He sets a time of 13’00”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0205_zpsi3fwdzmw.jpg

Yates needs to set a time of 14’06” to stay in the top 10 of the GC. He just manages to make it in 14’00”. a great top 10 placing for the young Britain.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0206_zps5uvirkqm.jpg

Kelderman is currently 9th place overall but is able to look up as his opponents are close to each other overall. With 13’09” however it is unlikely that he’ll overtake anybody.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0207_zpsof3u1r5z.jpg

Rui Costa is in between Kelderman and the next rider on the GC and is able to move up a place but also able to drop one aswell. He needs 13’22” to stay infront of Kelderman and he easily put a 13’05” on the clock.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0208_zpsxu7fd2nj.jpg

Contador needs to hold off both Kelderman and Costa for 7th place overall. Unless he’s able to take 1’20” on the next rider on the GC, he needs to defend his placing. He needs 13’35” to hold them off and with 13’11” he comfortable able to hold them off

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0209_zpsr99rsol6.jpg

De Gendt is in the figuratively wasteland. With a gap in front and behind him overall so he can just relax in this short time trial. With 13’07” he doesn’t take it too easy but with 14th place in the stage provisionally.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0210_zps3x8ifzzk.jpg

Van Garderen is in a similiar situation as De Gendt, instead of focusing on the GC. He’s going for the stage win today. He’s only able to get 9th place with 18 seconds down on Boom. 13’01”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0211_zpsfrneoii3.jpg

Kangert has been the surprise of this week so far, not many people would have expected him to finish in 4th place behind GT favorites, Nibali, Froome and Quintana. He continues to surprise people with a 9th place. Time equal with Van Garderen. 13’01”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0212_zpsmfi4mzq4.jpg

Nibali can cruise home as he needs a miracle to even have a shot at winning the overall classification. 13’03” is his time. Good for 14th place provisionally.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0213_zpsxalzodgs.jpg

Now we’ve hit the real fight of today stage, is Froome able to take the 7 seconds from Quintana that is keeping him from the GC victory. He puts pressure on Quintana by posted the new best time. 12’38”

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0214_zpso12ntdk9.jpg

Now that we know Froome’s time we can do the match for Quintana. He needs 12’45” to keep the overall classification. The time is 13’39” meaning that Chris Froome wins Tirreno – Adriatico.

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/EPIC/PCM0215_zpsrmffhlpw.jpg

Chris Froome and Sky take many jersey home today, the overall and points are for Froome that also took a stage.

Good result to finish, too bad Froome beat Boom, but we're happy to take Wilco's top 10 home.

Will try to get some more startlists out tomorrow.

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well, some wasted racedays by vdB here Angry

It's a fucking TT and Quintana is only fucking 7'' ahead of fucking Froome and you say changes are unlikely?

A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Hmm.. didn't know Moser had the KoM jersey. At least we got something from this race. Pennarossa needs longer TTs.

Thanks Luigi for the reports.
THough it's really getting frustrating having a team that constantly fails to get into the top 10 by only a few places, especially here with Spilak in 11th or Kristoff at MSR who also got 11th. The shitty rankings system giving a huge disadvantage in that aspect makes it even more frustrating.
