Great career btw. i would like to have the level of dedication you have.
Yes, judging by Sagans stats he would be unbeatable on anything flat or hilly

HTC Revival ( this is my plan for a long story for PCM 12 here so don't steal it guys ^^ )
The team found the backer and will start again at Pro Conti level. Within 2 years qualify to the WT. 50% of the team has to be American, while the rest can be multi-national. George Hincapie and Matty Hayman wanted to end their careers mentoring younger riders and their opportunity arrived. Those two veterans will teach the younger generation the trade of cycling.
You can extend this scenario really well, but this one should be to each individual to decide his goals etc. Try to repeat the success like the old HTC. Find the new start sprinter and create leadout worthy of High-Road or focus on climbers and try to create US Psotal days again at HTC !
Well, to me it seemed a good idea. I would love to carry it out if possible, but I have a problem.
I do not know how to approach creating a new team. I choose a real one and replaced the sponsor and equipment?. I create a customized team?
In the second case, how would you do? I mean that which would take riders to the new team? Dismantling other teams?
I would love to form a new U.S. Postal (including with other sponsorship) but would appreciate some advice on how to do.
Thank you very much for the replies. A greeting.

I would do what you did. Change names, sponsors of some small team in CT. Add the team's rider to some other smaller teams and using the editor take few riders from any team you want, the good idea for a squad would be 10-15. No need dismantling anyone.
The Team as I see it would be something like this :
- Tejay VanGarderen
- George Hincapie
- Matty Hayman
- John Degenkolb ( optional )
- Alex Howes
- Leigh Howard
- Craig Lewis
- Peter Stetina
etc.
Now there are more you can choose and those came randomly from my head now, but hope you get the idea

For HTC that's sounds good Alakagom i think for US Postal though it would be more like
- Tejay VanGarderen
- George Hincapie
- Matthew Busche
- Alex Howes
- Chris Butler
- Craig Lewis
- Peter Stetina
Splashed With some Spanish/Columbian riders etc (Betancour more riders like that?)

Expect Busche which I should have written, there's only one name that I didn't write, I personally want the team to be good throughout the season, but having mostly climbers potential, so that's why Howard, Hayman and Degenkolb.
I wouldn't go for Colombians straight away as that would be bit unrealistic imo. I'd rather do what HTC and go to European market, few Spanish riders possibly and few from Eastern Eruope, but that would be in 2nd season. First season in conti division should be rather with mostly all Americans imo

Well, in a moment you solved all my doubts! haha
I love the idea of taking a small team CT and customize it.
And the idea of taking a rider of each team (not to dismantle any) is great.
Even the names you suggest are great.
I have only one more question. You think that would be enough to 15 riders for my team? I guess your idea is to start in CT, of course.
And thanks jt1109 for your idea, is great have Busche

Yea, CT indeed. I found CT really fun to play and you slowly get used to your riders and can have a really nice and calm season. Then in the 2nd season you can do your own transfers, improving the team where you see it's lacking 15 - 20 riders should be definitely enough, I love starting with few riders and having that kind of 'special bond and seeing their palamres grow. And then in next season you'll expand to the PT with more riders etc
Good luck mate

Really great, I think Walmart is going back to roll again with this idea
I'll explore the market to see what I can find and I'll tell you another time as it has all gone.
Thank you very much mates.
Well, I have a first list and see what you think.

I like that team a lot. Only small change would be removing Cozza, as he retired this year due to illness. Rest is perfect and realistic. Looks very good

Here's another challenge which might be interesting. I didn't have the time to start it yet, but I think it could be fun:
Start with a custom team. You may only take one rider per nationality. Continue like that in your career. If you want to sign, for instance, another Belgian rider, you firstly have to release you old one. See how far you'll get.
There are multiple variations. You could e.g. start with only scouted riders. Or, to make it easier, you could add some money with an editor to at least have good scouts etc.

I started a save some time ago, that I completely forgot about, and it might be interesting for others too.
Austria has a two very promising riders in Denifl and Preidler. Create a custom team ( 0% ) with Denifl and Preidler as team leaders. However, if you find this too difficult you can sign either Rohregger or Eibegger, or even both. Österreich Rundfahrt has to be won every year during the save. Do a podium in a GT in minimum 5 years, and also win a monument during those 5 (GdL is recommended). And you are only allowed to sign Austrians, a good scout is very recommended.
I have reached 2018 and can post how I've been doing if someones interested.
I'm gonna try this with a Luxembourg team. I've copied Denifl's and Preidler's stats onto 2 created riders (Gaul and Faber ) 0% custom team. Must win Tour of Luxembourg each year. GT podium and a monument in 5 years. Only sign Luxebourgers.
One bit i want help on. How long should i hve the 0% sponsor?

While the idea of creating a fully nationalistic team is great, I don't suggest it for impatient players (like me). You can spend 2-3 seasons in a row without finding any decent cyclist to achieve your goals, so you get saddled with an aging team without a foreseeable good future. Whereas this kind of challenge is suitable for very good players who can obtain great results without a nice team, for normal-bad players (again, like me), it depends too much on luck.
