Hopefully you get some good results in the one day races, especially Lillestrom and Transfagarasan

We will meet in all four races and look forward to the Keinath Marquez battle especially. Not really a battle against Baugnies on the cobbles Also, I guess we both are outsiders for Philadelphia.
Hope your promotion push continues strongly

@red: I'm also hoping for good results I fear other teams (in especially those in Tour of America) will get closer to us quickly, and it would be a shame to fall outside of the top-10 so close near the end.
@Abhi: Tbh I think Keinath has beaten Marquez in every race they had together this season, so is it really a battle? I hope to be an outsider for Philadephia, but red's preview doesn't mention a Los Pollos rider, so I'm afraid it'll be a bummer.

Philadelphia International Championship (C2HC) Los Pollos Hermanos didn't attempt to join the breakaway, but started to chase it down as soon as it was formed. They did so successfully, as the peloton caught the breakaway well before the final sprint. Quispe was our designated late attacker, and he fulfilled his role properly. The late attack didn't get a lot of room though, in the end he finished 25th as second Los Pollos rider. It came to a sprint, in which Guillén sprinted to a splendid second place behind Carlsberg's Kragh Andersen. When you finish second you could always say 'what if', but this is without a doubt a great result by our Costa Rican, keeping our top-7 hopes well alive!
Guillén on his way to a second place
Euskal Bizikleta (C2HC) A puncheur stage race, nothing for us. Except for the first stage maybe? First stage was flat, and not too crazy. This time Quispe was the final man in the lead-out of Guillén instead of a late attacker, once again he did a splendid job. He kept the Costa Rican near the front, after which Guillén won his second stage of the season and took the first yellow jersey of the race! Los Pollos were nowhere to be seen in the other stages, but nobody cared as our goal had been accomplished.

Marco "The Legend" has striken again, very nice
I still don't have any clue why, but he definitely is much stronger in one-day races than both of my current sprinters - really a great season he's having!
Good luck for the season finale - you're definitely doing a great job by getting a Top 10 in your first year!

@Fab: I also don't know why legendary Marco is being such a beast for us recently, but I'll gladly take it. I was scared those 50k were spent very badly, but they might even be the difference in promoting or not
Transfagarasan GP (C2HC) Last race for our boy Marquez, and he did well. After Seboka set him up nicely, the Los Pollos' Spaniard followed Pinot's right move. He went into the final km together with the golden duo Pinot-Rawaneera, but couldn't surprise them anymore. Nevertheless, he was strong enough to hold on for a podium spot, which is a very nice end of the season for him!
Marquez on his way to a third place
Lillestrom GP (C2) Penultimate race for our Belgian star Baugnies, and what a thrilling one it was! Paprstka, the last remaining rider of the early break, was only caught under the flamme rouge by a trio consisting out of Baugnies and rivals Van Avermaet and Taubel. When Van Avermaet started his sprint, everyone thought it would be an easy win for the Strava rider. Never underestimate Baugnies though, as Jerome's stamina came into play, destroying GVA in the sprint and winning the GP Lillestrom!
Waar is da feestje?!

Wow, the chicken really are getting wings as we're approaching the end of the season! Great job, congrats!
Good luck for the rest of the year - and although direct promotion doesn't seem very likely, you could still get it if you continue like that

GP Kigali (C2) Here it is. The final cobbled race of the season, the probably final race for Baugnies in our outfit. The CT peloton (and some PCT riders) go to Rwanda to climb the infamous cobbled Kigali hill a loooot of times. Is our superstar up for it one last time? Winning is our dream, top-3 is the goal and top-5 the absolute minimum.
Quispe will be our guy to control the break in the early stages of the race, Ulloa should be our penultimate domestique and Coronel should once again be our final lead-out for Baubau. We also brought bad boy Seboka here, as this is his favourite race because of the amazing athmosphere along the road, particularly on the Kigali climb.
Let's hope we are able to catch the early break, and nobody in the peloton gets distanced because of an badly timed puncture.

"Winning is our dream, top-3 is the goal and top-5 the absolute minimum." That about sums it up for us, too, but I fear you have a way better chance of actually making that But it's honestly an unpredictable race. Either way, it's been a great CT cobbles season, with the intense fights we had hoped for beforehand. Here's to a worthy conclusion

Herald Sun Tour (C2HC) First stage race is the Herald Sun Tour, which includes four sprint stages and one 20 km time trial. Sterbini is our man for the GC, and with a good daily form he could secure us a promotion spot. It's the last time we should be able to score big this season, so please do something, Luca.
Manarelli will be our designated sprinter, and if our team decides to use a lead-out, Quicibal will be an important rider in our train. Last race of the season for the three mentioned riders as well.
Course de Solidarnosc (C2HC) Guillén ends his season and probably his career in Poland. Let's not cry already, as we still get to see the legend for four more times. It would be great to see him get a nice result, and his buddy Quispe will be there to hold his hand and/or act as his lead-out as he's done several times this season. Some nice points can be scored with the stupid two small KoM's in the second stage, so other Los Pollos legend Seboka can go loco there if he wants to.

The best of luck in your promotion attempt. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your team.
Of course I'm saying that in the hopes that a promotion would bring another batch of free beers around here.

Wishing you a solid performance in both instances - but not too solid as to overatke us
Jokes aside, with Sterbini and Guillen you should be in for some good results!

Thanks for the comments! The promotion hunt hasn't been going too well in the races we are currently in, but one strong performance by Sterbini and all our 'troubles' are gone.
And no worries Aidan, worst you could do is drop to sixth (behind Tryg) imo

We wave the regular season goodbye, as all races except for national and world championships have been ridden/rode/raught. The last month started very well for us, to become quite 'meh' near the end.
GP Kigali (C2) Mr. GOAT himself, Baugnies, showed the world another glimpse of his greatness in Rwanda. Only days after winning the Lillestrom GP he was dominant again, already taking matters in his own hands with 70 km to go in Rwanda. Our favourite cobbled rider has had a great season, and will be a Los Pollos Hermanos legend forever.
ez
Not much to say about the other races. Guillén and Manarelli failed to sprint well in Solidarnosc and the Herald Sun Tour respectively, whereas we were nowhere to be seen in the final race of the season, Zuri Metzgete. Sterbini finished eighth in the time trial in the Herald Sun Tour, which led to a sixth place in the GC. Below our expectations, but that's life.

Yeah, 10/10 for dramatic titles
I really hope you bring Baugnies to the PCT, Vanbilsen and him have unsettled business, although I realise he's getting older.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
