Seems like everyone has that opinion
You're still always welcome to drop by and have a discussion about any rider. It just means you have to do a better job of convincing me with a good offer

I am happy to be able to announce 4 new riders joining our team. We were able to acquire all of these from free agency on the minimum wage. All are experienced riders and we hope they will add some much needed depth to the team that was missing in the last couple of years.
Andrea Zordan - 50k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 67 | 73 | 77 | 55 | 72 | 72 | 70 | 53 | 65 | 74 | 72 | 62 | 55 |
Zordan: I'm happy to join this team. I know we have a big leader for the hilly races in Beltran and I hope I can help him achieve some great results.
Havard Blikra - 50k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 69 | 75 | 75 | 65 | 72 | 70 | 73 | 52 | 62 | 72 | 69 | 63 | 65 |
Blikra: Similar to Andrea I will look to help the team on in the hilly races, but I also expect to dabble in the mountains. Breakaways are also a big part of this team's philosophy and I hope I can add to that.
Matej Vysna - 50k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 67 | 76 | 75 | 64 | 70 | 73 | 68 | 50 | 52 | 69 | 62 | 58 | 64 |
Vysna: Expect to see me in most of the mountain stage races and perhaps some harder hilly races. I will try to support our race leader or attack the race from further out.
Olivier Le Gac - 50k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 70 | 69 | 77 | 60 | 73 | 74 | 71 | 52 | 64 | 69 | 74 | 73 | 60 |
Le Gac: Hilly races are my forte so I will ride most of those in support of Beltran. Apart from that I hope to be in breakaways in some of the other races. I'm excited to be here!

The wages of these riders signal how weird this window has been.

Yes, the free agency market is indeed out of hand.

After a small change in our transfer strategy we decided to acquire a couple of very talented riders for a not too big wage outlay. We are very happy to add them to our team and we hope both can develop in our team for the time being and become a big part of our future.
Andres Camilo Ardila - 180k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 65 | 72 | 72 | 67 | 66 | 66 | 67 | 62 | 62 | 68 | 68 | 65 | 67 |
Ardila: I'm very happy to start off my career here. Eduard Beltran is one of my idols in cycling and it feels surreal that I'll be able to train and race alongside him. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from him and all the other riders here.
Santiago Buitrago - 80k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 66 | 69 | 68 | 65 | 67 | 70 | 69 | 60 | 65 | 73 | 68 | 66 | 65 |
Buitrago: I'm also excited to join this team and it's pretty special to sign at the same time as another Colombian like Andres. I hope to learn a lot in my first year and try to help my teammates as much as possible.

Ardila is awesome
Pretty much perfect timing to take over from Beltran when he starts getting weaker. Love the signing!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Ardila is quite cheap for (I assume) being the first rider to be added to the game with the potential to reach 80+ in both MO and HIL!

Thanks
It was a pretty unexpected signing. It's going to take a few years before anyone fills Beltran's shoes, but Ardila is surely capable. Might already be pretty good next year in CT

No idea about the history of the game, but he is cheap indeed. Hopefully we don't see another season where so many talented riders can be acquired so cheaply.

Lopez had that potential too if someone would have gone another way during stat gains

I love the signings of Ardila and Buitrago! I was tempted by them too, but I decided on watching them from distance.

It took us a while, but we had to be patient and we were able to add a couple more class riders to our team. We are long term admirers of Gasper and we are delighted to have his skill set in the flat races hopefully for a long time. Jose Alarcon gives us a pure climber which we arguably have never had before since our existence. Certainly not of leadership quality like Jose's, so we are excited to support him in stage races this season.
Gasper Katrasnik - 75k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 81 | 61 | 63 | 69 | 72 | 76 | 69 | 63 | 63 | 72 | 81 | 73 | 69 |
Katrasnik: I was surprised I was released after a successful season last year. But I love where I ended up and I aim to show my attacking talents again this season.
Jose Alarcon - 300k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 68 | 83 | 72 | 66 | 69 | 72 | 71 | 50 | 58 | 76 | 78 | 65 | 65 |
Alarcon: I know I carry a big responsibility on this team and I also know that my time in the game is nearing its end sooner or later. So let's go out with a bang!

That's a great set of signings so far and maybe you should consider a South American secondary sponsor soon

I guess so. Although it remains to be seen whether it's enough to keep us afloat for another season

They were a bit unexpected signings to be honest, but they give us a brigther future if the present doesn't quite work out

Given some of the MGUCI's restrictions regarding our previous results in important races, as well as the goals mandated by our new sponsor. We didn't end up having a big transfer kitty. As a result we had to be quite prudent with our spending, but we managed to find a rider on the market which we found of great value and can hopefully help us on our journey.
David Gaudu - 405k Fee, 125k Wage
Spoiler FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 73 | 71 | 78 | 66 | 78 | 75 | 71 | 57 | 68 | 70 | 69 | 69 | 66 |
Gaudu: This was a late move for me and for a while I wasn't sure where I'd end up. But I'm happy to be here now. I know this team has a leading puncheur, but I'm motivated to carve out my own role!

Massive signing. Particularly with the division strengthening on the hills, good support could be crucial. Gaudu seems like a great choice for the superdom role!

I'm sure you are. I'm delighted to have him and I hope we both meet in PCT again next year

Yes, I'm very happy with this signing
I think my hills support was quite solid even without Gaudu. Whether the support makes a difference in the crazy puncheur field this year remains to be seen. Hopefully I can get the best from Gaudu in a helper or free role

Like Carapaz, Alarcon produced a fierce battle for his signature. Congratulations on signing him! I quite like the South Americans in your team, I'll follow it closely.
