I was looking to see how much/whether atheists were more intelligent, on average, then trying to compare religions. In the end, there weren't many proper studies, that one at first smelled fishy, then... The comments.
Personally, I thought it would be atheists and buddhists, and all the other religions after. There are lots of smart christians and muslims, jews, etc. and lots of dumn atheists, but I reckon on average that is how it'd turn out.

Funny enough, we I (actually we, me and Code) had a nice conversation with Jesley, partly about religion, partly about influence of media on West and I just honestly can't believe what I see. Do you really think your (Atheist) IQ is on 119 and average of more than three billion people on this planet is 95 (basically only Muslims and Christians)? How can you rate yourself a person with high IQ if you believe this, man?
Then again, I'll repeat a nice quote I heard somewhere: "No matter the truth, people see what they want to see." or basically "People don't see what they can, but what they want to see". Of course you searched "Atheists has higher IQ than everyone else" because you're an atheist and you want it to be like that. I have a surprise for you - it's not like that. If you believe "researches" on that serious type of forums (basically most of medias), then I feel somewhat sorry for you.
If your messages were sarcastic, ironic or somewhat a joke - my apologizes. Sorry for touching few topics that you didn't start (like media, brainwashing and stuff like that who are mostly expressed on West), I seriously don't know why I did that.
Just don't start the religious topics and start "defending" your one, as that's kinda sensitive topic and the second thing is kinda stupid (defending).

I doubt the average of any religious group, except if course worshippers of Hobbitism (average 156, but there are only a few) as having an IQ that high. That test is clearly rubbish.
What I searched was 'Relationship between intelligence and religion'. I was expecting that result, and in most sources that is what I found, but I was also willing to accept the opposite. The reason I searched it was to solve a dispute between some of my muslim and atheist friends. You might be interesting to know the atheist was the one who did not think there was a connection.
That was merely a hypothesis. It was sort of serious, but I highly doubt there is a bug correlation. I live in an area with lots of muslims, atheists, and also a number of christians. It would be interesting if an accurate study was done, though I reckon they would all be around 100, maybe with slight variations, but nothing major. I strongly apologise if you interpreted my comment as me saying atheists are more intelligent, superior, or anything like that.

Due to some (very!) unexpected road work on my usual training route, I've broken 4 spokes on my bike and I might have a punctured a tire.
But judging by the names the construction workers shouted after me, they seem to believe I've slept with all their mothers.
