Cummings is best placed at +21 minutes so no problems for Lotto.

That means Red Bull, Wikipedia and Milka have to take up control over the peloton early again.

Nothing (literally nothing) happens so fast-forward to the intermediate sprint with 30 km to go.

Both clearly confident their sprinters can survive in the bumpy finale.

The peloton 1'20 behind with 18 km remaining, mainly flat but there are some sharp rises.

Already over the top on the false flat, 4 riders finally attack the bunch. But they can't get away and so the bunch is back together. 5 km to go and everything looks good for a mass sprint.

So this is the situation with 2 km to go. Facci is leading out Van Stayen who has Reynes, Tolleson and Degenkolb in his wheel. Howard is already going for it next to the train and would be smarter to look back and see if he can find his lead sprinter Forero.

Van Stayen pulls clear right before the red kite. Reynes is too tired and can't follow which causes Tolleson and Degenkolb to go around. It seems like Van den broeck, who has pulled up alongside the leadout train, will be Van Stayen's main competition.

Van Stayen is still in front with 500 metres left. Degenkolb, Tolleson, Goss, De La Fuente and Van den broeck are trying to get back to his wheel.
