This is the first "article" in the series of "Quick Tips". Quick Tips are easy ways to enhance your gaming experience by simple steps which even a total newbie is able to understand. This article describes how you by simple steps add your favorite MP3-songs to the game - and how you get rid of the very annoying in-game music.
There are several ways to do this, but the by far easiest way is the following: 1. Go to C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2006\Sound 2. Check, if there's a directory in "Sound" which is called "MyMP3" - if there isn't, create a new directory called "MyMP3". 3. Now, put your MP3-music in the directory. When you open PCM it'll play the songs you've placed in the directory.
Notice: It is not enough to make a shortcut to the MP3-file. The entire file has to be in the directory.
If you don't want to have two copies of the same song, f.e. because of you having a small hard drive, it's possible to use an external MP3-player to play the songs. If you choose to use an external MP3-player, remember to mute the in-game sound. That can be done in the Settings-menu.
Good luck! |
