Tutorial: How do I edit the database of the PSP version from Pro Cycling Manager ’07?
Important: To be able to play the downloaded game, you must have “Custom Frimeware” installed on your PSP. You can find this on Google, because there are people who are specialised in this. Someone like that helped me.
Step 1: Download PCM ’07 for the PSP-version.
Downloading this is illegal, a crime actually, but for a link you can allways contact “thomasdekkerfan” by PM on the forum. On the other hand you can allso just search on Google.
Step 2: Converting your game from CSO to ISO
When you got the game, download “PSP ISO Compresser v1.4” (which is legal). With that you can convert the CSO-file into an ISO-file. When you registered at “Maxconsole”, you can donwload the file following this link:
[As you can see there is some orange tekst which is just saying that is the downloadlink]
When you click on it, don’t select “save” but choose “[don’t know a proper translation for ‘uitvoeren’ but choose the other option. Something like do.]”. When you’ve installed it, open it. Before you fill in anything, you must mark at the left side of the program “Uncompress CSO-ISO”. Then you click on the 3 points behind “Input File(s)”, where you select Pro Cycling Manager ’07. If everything is ok, a new link should appear under “Output File(s)”. Then click “Uncompress”.
[Tekst bottom left: To convert a CSO file into an ISO file tekst upper right: Choose the file you wish to convert tekst middle right: Dont do anything with that, it’ll be ok. Tekst bottom right: Click to start converting]
Now, there will appear a black window. When it’s finished, you’ll return to the original menu.
[orange tekst: the program is converting the file]
You can now close the program. You can now find the ISO-file on the place where the old file is as well.
Step 3: Searching the database with WinISO.
First thing you need to do, is download the program WinISO following here! [It’s the Dutch version, but I’m sure there’s an english one as well] This is allso legal. Click “Download now” and a new window will appear, where you again have to click on [the word I dont know but what is something like do]. When the installation is done, you can open the program. At the top of it, click on the icon “Open[Load]” and look for your Pro Cycling Manager ’07. Normally there appear 2 items; you click on “PSP_GAME”.
When you opend this, click on “USRDIR”.
Now, a couple of maps will appear, of which you need to choose “DATABASE”.
[orange tekst: in here are the databases, oyu’ll see them when you click on it.]
If you carefully followed all steps, you should now see all databases.
[orange tekst: Those are all databases you can edit with the PCM Kicker NG]
You can now click on the database and drag it to your windows starting page. Then you can open it with the PCM Kicker.
Step 4: Editing the database with the PCM Kicker
To edit the DB you can just follow the tutorial from the Kicker. This remains the same for the PSP version. You can see the Dutch tutorial from pcmbenelux HERE and the English one from PCM Daily HEREThe Dutch one was written by Camerluca and the English one by Addy291.
