As said in the preview this is a little guide that will show you how to edit the stats of riders in your chosen database.
For this guide i will use the Hannes Convertor 2.0, available for download from this site, by going to the downloads section or clicking HERE!!
1. All you need to do, is download that pack and open it up. Once open you need to click the button on the top left (it looks a bit like a plug). This is where you will select your database, that you wish to edit.
2. Then once opened, a box will come up with a list of tables. Locate DYN_cyclist, click on it, and click OK.
3. An icon will now appear on the home part of the editor, double-click it to open the table up.
4. Once it is opened, there is a lot of rows and columns which you may get slightly confused by. To limit the confusion, i find it best to, minimise all the columns that are unnecessary for the part you need to edit.
5. The columns this guide will help you edit, are about halfway across, and named "charac_f_flat", "charac_f_mountain" and so on.
6. It is important to remember that of the 3 columns with, f.e. "flat", in the name, that we only edit theĀ first column of the 3.
7. Now all you need to remember is to keep the numbers between 50 and 85, to click Save at the bottom, then the save button at the top (looks like a floppy disc), make sure you select the correct databas or savegame, then click Save
8. Then a box should come up stating the tables you opened, make sure you click on the name of the table or it won't save (if you have edited multiple, then use Ctrl + click), then click OK and a little box written in German should come up, this is basically saying "Saved", click OK, and see the effects in-game.

I tried to open a database file through Hanes Converter. It won't let me open it. I keep getting the same messages. Unhandled exception has occured in your application. Access to the path 'DYN_archive_contract_.hex' is denied. Help.
unfotunatley i can't help. I have no idea why it's doing that, but i've never had that error, opening up a DB, maybe just try using Hannes Editor, i've never recommended that before as it's quite unstable but it may work for you
