When having bought the game legally and therefore also downloaded it legally to your computer it can be difficult to understand why you're only allowed to activate it three times. Yes, it might be to prevent pirating, but when having paid an overprice you do feel a right to with it as you want. This small article tells you how to activate the downloaded version more than three times.

(This article was originally written for PCM06, but has now been adapted to fit the PCM07-version)

First, you have to open Start and click the "Run"-button. Type "regedit" in the dialogue.
Find "HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Cyanide"
Right click the "Cyanide"-folder and click the Export-button. Save the file somewhere safe.

Next time you decide to reinstall the game, click the file you just exported after having installed the game. The game will think you already have registered the game, but in fact you're just using your old registration.

This trick only works if your hardware hasn't changed - and for the same reason, it only works on your computer (or on someone else's computer if that person has the exact same configuration as you have)
