When having bought the game legally and therefore also downloaded it legally to your computer it can be difficult to understand why you're only allowed to activate it three times. Yes, it might be to prevent pirating, but when having paid an overprice you do feel a right to with it as you want. This small article tells you how to activate the downloaded version more than three times.

First, you have to open Start and click the "Run"-button. Type "regedit" in the dialogue.
Find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SOFTWARE - CYANIDE"
Here, you'll find a folder named "Pro Cycling Manager 2006". Right click it and choose "Export". Save it somewhere safe!

Now, by clicking the file you have just exported the game will be registered without counting 1 activation. 

This trick only works if your hardware hasn't changed - and for the same reason, it only works on your computer.
