PCM.daily opens Amazon PCM Store
Pro Cycling Manager 2012

Over the past few years, PCM.daily has had an affiliation deal with Focus regarding the download version of Pro Cycling Manager. Some people still prefer the good, old DVD versions, though, and for those people we haven't had a similar option.

That changes now, as PCM.daily has opened a 'store' at Amazon - the worldwide internet shop which sells pretty much everything, including Pro Cycling Manager.

It works in the same way as the deal with Focus. If you buy the game through the PCM.daily link, PCM.daily is rewarded with a share of the money you pay for the product. The price stays the same, but you help covering the costs of running PCM.daily.

The store also has Tour de France 2012, the console game for Playstation 3 and XBOX360, on the shelves.

So if you prefer the DVD version over the download version, head over to the shop here. We hope to have the download affiliation link ready next week.

No, it'd be too much of a hassle to negotiate national deals. The good thing about Amazon and the download version is that it's available to pretty much everyone.

However, if you're interested in the Nordic version and want to support a PCM community at the same time, I'm sure PCMFreaks will set up a deal. They usually do.

@DaBobScotts I don't think there is any difference, but it's far more than the 20 pounds for the hard copy. How that is I simply don't understand.

I doubt it. Downloading is how they expect people outside of US and Europe to get it.

They used to have the hard copy of pcm 08 here, but nobody bought it. A friend found a copy in a $2 bin. Since then, they expect us to download it.

TBH I might wait a bit, see how it turns out and buy it when the price drops, like it usually does.

It only dropped $10 from the initial release price, to just yesterday for PCM 11, so I dont see any point in waiting.

Yea, that's usually the case to be honest. DVD versions of games are cheaper than Download games.

#23: I received confirmation yesterday that everything is going as planned, and that the link should be ready before the release. They said next week, though, so Monday-Wednesday is the time frame, I guess.
