PCM.daily releases Expansion Pack (Beta) for PCM09

Update: If you downloaded the Expansion Pack before 9:30 CET, download the fix. If you didn't, you can safely download the pack from the link below.

As promised earlier, we're now releasing our first database for Pro Cycling Manager 2009. This is hopefully only one of several, but this one should suit most people's demands. We'll keep on working on the DB and release a larger version with more teams, races, etc. later on.

Please report any bugs you find in the forum. We'll then correct them and release an updated version suited for serious career playing one of the coming days.

Teams, Riders and Equipment
- Real names for both teams and riders
- Real shirts for teams
- Lots of new equipments for teams, all linked to the teams so they ride the equipment they use in real life (where possible)
- 66 teams in total
- New stats

Races
- Real names for all races
- Cancelled races removed
- Correct race dates
- 13 new national championships
- 10 new youth races
- 9 new 'normal' races (in addition to the ones mentioned)

Graphics

Please let me know if it works. I've only been able to test it on my version here, and I'm a tad ahead of you version wise, so I'm not 100 % sure that it works with v1.0.0.0

Unfortunately the game crashes for me with the db when loading a race or track mode. I think its a (missing) textures problem, which suggests I've made a hash of the installation. I'll try again tomorrow because I'm dead tired now, but just for the record, can someone confirm they're playing stages/track mode with the db installed on version 1.0.01?

Same here.

I was able to play the game before the expansion pack.

But after installing it, the game crashes after loading the final cyclist texture.

Yes, I've downloaded and installed it.

There are .nif files missing.

If you want to play track, download the track fix I've added to the downloads section. Wink

For road, I don't have time right now to see which files are missing.

The track fix might fix the road part as well - for I was just able to start La Fleche with random teams. No time to properly test it. Wink

@fenian: I just tried your track fix on the TTT stage of the tour, and it didn't work unfortunately. Don't have time to test any more now, gtg to work..

That's weird. Before uploading, I checked all teams in both TT and RR, and it worked. Same with track mode.

Will look into it.

Thanks CT, that's seemed to have fixed the problem. Played a couple of track modes and the Monaco prologue and its working fine.

Just installed the DB but i cannot seem to get the equipment. Everything else is fine but no equipment. Remind me again what was in the pack

BTW, Polish Championships would be "Mistrzostwa Polski" in Polish if you want to add that to complete your authentic names.

A couple of questions:
The rider stats were also changed or are they the Cyanide ones?
Does equipment have any impact on riders or is it meaningless like in PCM2008? The instructions that come with PCM2009 say that equipment does have an impact.
