are these compatible with the PCMdaily database expansion pack?

For those with trouble installing this pack: Please note that it is archived twice (to turn it into just one file). Here's a step-by-step instruction to get it right, expect this to take some time with all the extracting and copying:

Step 1: Download the 3.66 GB archive CyanideVariantPack.zip to any location on your harddrive where you can find it again.

Step 2: Extract the archive. Should be no more than a right click on the file, choose "extract here". This will produce four more archives, Cyanide201X.7z.

Step 3: Now extract all those four archives individually. You can again choose extract here. This will produce four folders called Cyanide201X.

Step 4: Now open the first folder, Cyanide2010. It contains 275 files. Select them all and copy them all into one of the two mentioned folders. The CM_Stages folder (second option) depends on your installation path, obviously. Inside that folder you find all the stages from 2014 so you know you're in the right folder. If you pick the first option it'll be empty at first (unless you already downloaded other stages, in which case you won't need this guide anyway).

Step 5: Repeat for the three other folders. Open them and copy everything inside into the same folder you used before. A prompt will ask if you want to overwrite the readme.txt (yes or no doesn't matter, it's always the same readme), a good sign that you've selected the same folder.

Now test if everything worked out: Start the game, select single player and then stage race or stage, it should show you the Tour de France and a little box where you can select which course you want to use. Originally, there would only be two choices, 2014 and v2, now there should be more. In career mode I believe at the beginning of every year a variant will be chosen at random - not in the first year because the game will specifically pick the 2014 version for the year 2014.

(optional) Step 6: You can now delete everything you didn't put into the stages folder: The original zip archive, the four 7z archives and the four folders you extracted from them. That will free up about 12 GB of harddrive space.
