I have exactly the same question as tRMMoM

Well i'm not sure if the installer puts it into the steam folder. Check your ducoments/cycling manager 2012/users/username/database if it is there and copy it over into the steam folder where it should go. I don't know anybody who bought it on Steam so i cannot tell you the direct file path where it belongs. Probably somewhere in steamapps file. Sry for not being able to be more precise :/

I only read a little German but I think the problem is that you install it in 2 rounds. First it asks where to install the database (I am not sure it matters where you choose but I chose the DB folder in Steam's PCM folder). After that it looks like it starts over and asks where to install the DB. Here I just chose what it suggested which is in your users' documents folder and then I could select it in the game.

I take some of it back. I can select the DB and it works untill I start a race. Then I get 100 twins racing each other and a reinstall doesn't work.

Solved it. I had to install the first time in \Steam\steamapps\common\pro cycling manager 2012 (not in Database)
The second time in the suggested folder. Now it works

will it work with the new patch?

In the second season there are no pro tour races, anyone else has the same problem?
