Ruben has made this rather special DB which is very suited for online playing. It includes a bunch (15) of short races, 3 flat stages, 3 hilly stages, 3 mountain and 3 TT. Even more interesting is the fact that there's only 1 rider - and you therefore also only control one.
What's this?
Well, I made fifteen short stages, 3 flat stages of 22km, 3 hilly stages of around 20km, 3 mountain stages (Scanuppia, Alpe d'Huez and Base del Teide), 3 cobble stages and 3 time trial (20km, 50km and a mountain time trial).
Included are a special database (Short_races.cdb) and special startlists for the races. Every team has 1 rider, with all stats 75, these riders are named after some of the legends in the sport. The fun thing is that the stages are short and you have no teams, everyone is individual and road cycling is once again the individual sport it once was. This makes for fun play online.
You can play one of the tours seperately (sprint tour, cobble tour, tt tour, climb tour or hilly tour) or play all fifteen stages called the combined tour.
Installation:
Unzip the CM_stages and CM_textures folders into C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2008\
Unzip the Database, CustomTour and Import folders into your My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\ folder.
Ingame, go to options and select "Short_Races.cdb" as your database, and go play one of the tours (climb tour, cobble tour, sprint tour, hilly tour, tt tour) or all of them combined (combined tour)
