Hi there. My last story with Rabobank had to stop because of too many crashes but I just can't stay away from stories. So I decided to take another shot, this time letting you choose the team. I've looked over the rosters of the teams and I chose 5 teams that will enter the poll: Liquigas, Lampre, Milram, Bouygues and Barloworld.
Barloword is the only team of those 5 that is riding in the Continental Tour. Still they have some good riders like Soler, Hunter, Froome, Cummings, Cardenas or Augustyn. The teams goal wouldn't be the promotion though as they have a weaker roster than Cervelo, LPR or Vacansoleil.
Bbox Bouygues Telecom is a French team lead by Fegrigo and Voeckler, perfect riders for stage wins in Le Tour or any other French race. Trofimov and Rolland are the young guns in the team, while Arashiro and Bonnet are the sprinters of the team.
Lampre - N.G.C is one of the strongest Italian teams in the pack. The team is lead by the World Champion Alessandro Ballan. Former Giro d'Italia winner, Damiano Cunego is also one of the team leaders, but he lately he become a rider for the classics rather than the Grand Tours. There are a lot of sprinters at Lampre but Furlan, Lorenzetto and Gasparotto seem to be the best.
Liquigas. If Lampre is one of the strongest, Liquigas is definitly the strongest Italian team at the moment. 2 of the best climbers in the World, Pellizotti and Basso are riding for them as well as two of the most talented young riders, Nibali and Kreuziger. Bennati, Fischer and Cicchi are the main sprinters of the team, while Franzoi and Quinziato are 2 strong riders for the northen classics.
Team Milram. The days when the team was focused only on the sprints for Petacchi or Zabel are over now. There are still some good sprinters in the team like Ciolek, Forster or Stroetinga, but now some riders that can count for the overall rankings are here as well, Linus Gerdemann and Markus Fothen. Wegmann is the best puncheur in the team and a good sprinter as well.

thanks but at Lampre Ballan and Gasparotto are cooler than Cunego, at least for me

Lampre for me..nice medium team..and you should have lot of fun in cobble races and ardennes..team has good enough sprinters.
Milram is like bad luck story team..but it is perfect team for story
Liquigas..well I have a reasons do not choose that team..you are to good..team is to strong and extra personal reason..
Bbox..dont know how long fun with breakaway with Voecler will keep up..
Barloworld will be eliminated after this season..it is always sad to play with dead team..
I hope to see long one again..Give me a season!

I've just been reading the forums for a long time but now I have to vote for Liquigas because i really want to see how would they do. |
