Salaries raised on their own!?

Happen to anyone else?

Had Carlos Barredo signed to the end of 2012, for 46k. He won the vuelta in 2011, and come oct 15th, his salary was all of a sudden 85k????

Also, signed Roman Kreuzinger (sp?) to 60k, he was signed in July of 2011, and come oct 15th the same year, his salary also was up to 85k??

Is this a bug or is there a reason why this happened? Really screwed up my career lol.

Experienced it in PCM08 where it was due to a bug in the DB. Which one are you using?

PCM.daily expansion pack.

I started a new career because of what happened, and something similar happened again lol.

This time though, I signed riders as of July 1st, and come October, their salaries were higher than what I had signed them for. I signed Roche, he was asking for 12.5k, but signed for 10k....his salary come October? 15k.

Also signed Loqqvist (sp?) for 32k I believe, his wage come October was 42k instead. Also signed Mollema, Rovny and their wages were higher than what I had signed them for in July and also, 5 young riders who signed for 2k, but are all getting 3100. This time it's fine I won't start a new career because I'm making a lot of money from race revenue, but it makes it hard to figure out a budget when I don't know if my riders will be making more or what I signed them for.

No one else has had this happen to them? Weird. Maybe no one has noticed yet lol.

Everything seems ok as far as the game goes. The pack installed properly and I am using the correct db because the UCI and CQ rankings are there etc etc. Only thing that has made me had some strange thoughts was wiggins stats in this db, he has like 59mtn I think and 60 hill? SOmething like that anyways.

Please tell me that's the way it should be Wink

I experienced something similar in last years game. I checked a backup of my save and the game "lost" the information about the contract. But it only affected 2 riders.

How do you close your game? If you quit directly without going back to main menu the game does not save correctly. (it is like this since years)

What currency are you playing with? Maybe Cyanide forgot to calculate the currency correctly.

Hmm, I always quit straight to windows, I'll try going back to the main menu from now on then.

And I play in us dollars.

Just a check, change the currency to Euros, do the salaries change?

Yeah, the currency thing doesn't work very well. Try using Euro instead.
