Welcome to race day coverage of the Nokere-Koerse!
This is a continental C1 race (Europe Tour) on the 7th March 2010. In 2009 Stuart O'Grady won here, but who will be victorious this time? Time will tell.
Let's remind ourselves with the race profile

The Depart flag is dropped, we're racing, will O'Grady win again or will we see a new champion. Well the next few hours should tell us!
O'Grady seems to be attacking into the early morning break taking with him Di Nucci and Speirs.
Our 3 leaders are joined by 2 chasers, these are Huff and Bangiorno as we see a nice castle with just over 2km of the circuit left, then we start a new lap.
But don't worry, we still have chasers! Page and Dekkers are doing the job of bridging the gap!
RACE SITUATION:
E1 ---> P = 1'24"
E1 ---> E2 = 26"
2 teams don't agree with this though, 100% me and Molteni. The break is caught. There's still 166km to go, room for another break.

End of Post 1
RACE SITUATION AT THE END OF THIS POST
Finish: 166km

Moments after the caught break, we have another. This time Van Groen, Huff and Bongiorno.
No race would be complete without a counter, and heres one: Khatmuratov, O'Grady, Fenn, Ratto, Speirs.
O'Grady proving determind to win this race again.
Behind they are just watching the gap increase and allowing it some room before bringing it back for the end.
United break away group thenof: Speirs, Bongiorno, Fenn, O'Grady, Van Groen, Huff, Khalmuratov and Ratto.

Finish: 136km

this is it.. the final part:
2 Nividia guys ahead, Hoste and Franzoi
Martin makes a move, can 100% me still win this?
Franzoi is 22" clear of 9 riders including Freire, Van Stayen, Hoffman and Martin
5km to go, this is the situation:
1=Franzoi
2=Van Stayen
3=Hoste
1km to go, 28" lead, surely it's his with Van Stayen is a Nivida sandwich
Theres even time to celebrate as Franzoi wins the race!
Next: Results.
