The general advice is to download the PCM08 demo. If it works, PCM09 will work on your computer too. And most likely at the same settings too.

I tried to run pcm09 on my machine and I just got tonnes of lag - is there any way I can reduce this or should I give up (I have tried to turn all the graphics settings down). |

I had the same problem on mine...which confused me because my PC was less then a month old. Turned out I had to update both my video and sound drivers. Once doing that I can now run it just fine with roadside at 4 and forest at 2....will still lag though if I put on shadows and crowd...so I don't.

The graphic options can be a bit confusing. Look at this picture for the best performance. It is in german but I guess you get the picture.
