I startet playing PCM with 09, 2 weeks ago. Choose Team Saxo Bank on "Easy".. and I obviously won everything I attended. Did that without knowing _ANYTHING_ about fitness schedules, used alot of unnessesary training camps, picked "Fighter" training for a fighter and "Puncheur" training for a puncheur etc. :)
Now, I know a little bit about the game, and I've read alot on this site, and I'm ready to step it up a gear.
I'm torn between choosing Team Saxo Bank once again, and creating a custom team. It seems like playing(doing races) with a custom team is to hard for me. Am I picking the wrong ones?
So, what I want to know, is when I'm about to make my season schedule, which races to pick? Do you only do the top races with a pro tour team?
Which classes/stage types to pick for a custom team and so forth. - I'm obviously referring especially to the first couple of seasons.
..and if someone could explain the race-"classes" for me i.e: CTT, T.HC, C.1 etc.
Which races to pick? That's pretty much up to you. First of all, you need to know which races you want to win. Naturally, you have some goals that you'll have to fulfil, and there's some Pro Tour races throughout the season that you'll have to do well in to win the overall Pro Tour classification.
So, other than Pro Tour races (UPT), you may have to race some races prior to your goals to higher your riders' race form.
So, if I understand this correctly, UPT is equal to CTT? - It doesn't say UPT in my game :/ Also 1.HC = C.HC and T.1 is "easier" to win than T.HC but results in less points?

C.HC (1.HC) and T.HC (2.HC) are equally high ranked. C means classic, T means Tour. But of course, there's more points to get in a Tour than in a Classic due to the Tour being several days long.

Alright, starting to get the hang of it here! - Just to make this last thing clear.. a "2.1" would be easier to win than a "2.HC"?
