It's time for the Etoile de Besseges. 4 flat stages, and 1 hilly stage. Though, it's not too hilly so if a sprinter manages to get enough bonification seconds, he could hang on to overall victory.

Jelloul being the best placed rider of my team in Stage 1 says a lot about the AI. Anyway, I'm looking forward to that hilly stage. |

There's no I in team, we realised this. If we cannot all finish together it's not worth racing. Well done boys :-P |

This is the first race of the season I hope to win the overall. I hope we smash everyone when it gets hilly. |

I will try and challenge you, although Ventoso's very poor sprint is not all that promising

Stage 2 was pretty crazy. I'll try to get it up now. Though, I could be leaving soon because I'm visiting the criterium here in Roosendaal, the 'Draai van de Kaai'. (With Mark&Mark and Contador ) |

yey, it sucks. playing on normal it's waaaaay too easy to get a 1-2-3, even with sucky sprinters...
but when it's AI vs AI, I guess its okay... could be much better but... ok. |

Well, it's not really ok, as to win, it requires you to have an awesome lead out man/two sprinters who are 79 odd sprint each. Hence why in Langkawi, Haedo for BMC has so far, sucked. And for me, I guess Trusov will get basically no results this season.
Still, I guess for some things to improve, some had to suffer.

78 flat
78 sp
78 sp
and all I managed was 2 top 20's
so even that does not work. In 09 it seems to me that you just have to get lucky.

I dont agree. Look at besseges, 2 wins in a row for Bewley (75 sprint) without a leadout man.
like mb2612 said, I think it's more about luck. which is better, because having the same result every stage wouldnt make you happy either. |
