Help with graphics

I don't know if this is the normal behavior or not.

1) i see the shadows drawing as the objects appear, it's pretty anoying
2) i see people being drawn up as the race goes.

how can i put the shadows to always be there?
how can i change the draw distance?

any graphical tweak do i can UP the game graphical quality?

Thanks.

ps: all settings in game are maxed out.

I guess you cannot. It is a performance thing. Maybe there is a config file for the graphic engine but I did not find anything. You could ask the cyanide guys (by PM) in their forum.

You should also see the trees and mountains pop up, thougt, else the options might not be maxed.

I turned the shadows off, because they use too much CPU power for beeing so ugly.

just turned them off to, if they don't show up properly, so it's better not having them.
