database editor error

Ok,
I've installed the Hannes Database editor 2.0, and was able to edit the database, i saved it in Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\Database.
I am able to select the edited database in the options menu in the game, but when i apply this database and try to play, there is nothing changed... it's still the original names etc...
Anyone knows what might be the problem?

did you do it like this:
1. edit the data
2. click on the save button at the bottom of that mini-window
3. wait for it to stop saving, then
4. click the big save button on the top bar (looks like a discy thing)
5. select what to save as and where
6. now a screen pops up, click on the table name (e.g. DYN_team), THEN click ok
7. German thing comes up basically saying saved
number 6 is the really important one

Yeah that's excactly what i did. Even the german window pops up saying the database was correctly "gespeichert" lol. |

and you're sure you selected the correct db in the game (sorry for stupid question)

Yeah i'm sure. I tested all databases i created, none with the wanted result... I've done this before with PCM 06, so i know i did everything right. |

I also tried Kicker but that gives an error when i open KickerNG_095.exe. it says COMDLG32.OCX is not registered correct... Tried to download and install it in the system32 directory, but it still gives the error... Strange, i guess i'll just have to play with the default database.
Hmmm, now when i try to open the unpacked database using Hannes converter, it gives an arror saying the access to DYN_archive_contracts_manager.hex is denied... Any idea about that?

i'm sorry i have never had that before. you could always try uninstalling Hannes and installing it again,
don't know if it'll work, but anythings worth trying

Uninstalled it, reinstalled it.
Error is gone, was able to edit and save. Tried it ingame, without luck. Man this is frustrating... |
