The juli-october budget gap

As i understand it, my sponsor will give me a new budget in october. But the signing of riders begins in juli?

If i wait to sign riders until i know my budget, surely the best will allready have been taken by the other teams?

But if I go crazy from juli, i risk blowing the budget for next year and go bankrupt.

I know the new budget will be based on how well i perform, but is there any way to know what to expect?

Im really not interested in how to use editors or other cheats, i just would like to know how the game handles the juli-october gap.

Or maybe i have misunderstood how it works?

PS: Do i get to keep the money i have saved up? Or are they still taken away at the end of the season?

Hi.

Yes you get a new paymentbudget in october, based on your performance.

And you are so right if you wait till october to contact riders, all - and I mean all - will be contracted by new teams the following season.
All you can do is make your own judgement about your performance contra the sponsoramount.
I play for CTT at the moment, and my sponsors are 75-85% procent happy, and I get 550.000 £ monthly.

Last, yes in PCM you keep your money on the account the next season.

I hope you can use some of this.

In the window for transfers you can also see what your wage budget for next year is...

Thanks for the replies.

it seems the amount in the tranfer window is double the amount of the current wage budget, at least for Mliram. Thats certainly an improvement!

also, i asume i only get that amount if that indeed is my rider wage, right?

Or will they double my budget regardless of my actual rider salaries?

This is wrong.
In the transfer window you see:
- sum of all wages of the next season (existing + new contracts)
- The maximum amount you are allowed to pay that rider
- The maximum amount you are allowed to spend
The true budget might be lower or higher. It is only affected by the sponsor happyness at the end of the season.
