which is the best pcm in the series?
binga58
open to any game in the series, which is the best so far in terms of gameplay, features, long life playability?
also keen to know how many people keep older versions installed and still play them?

i think 09 is the best out of them all but 08 was very good aswell

its nice to finally have some good graphics, i know its realistic but i get pissed havin to get water for the boys lol

dakey11
yer i think there needs to be more updates on the graphics like with the faces and other things and i think they need to bring out a mode where you are one rider and you have to get him to become a superstar

2009 or 2006 is best. On 2006 you can take the highest graphic options and it takes no time to load.

Yeah 2009 or 2006.

But no matter what, just dont touch 2007.

PCM06 was definately the best in my opinion
YORKSHIRE BORN, YORKSHIRE BRED...

PCM06 was very nice indeed, PCM07 was pure horror.

Did anyone here play Cycling Manager 1 that came out back in '01? That was an awesome game despite its flaws.

I remember there was no cobblestone stat so the sprinters ended up fighting for the victory in Paris-Roubaix. Smile

CyM1 got me into the series like back in 2002.

I have all the games. CyM1 wasn't good. Winning the Tour with Zabel was possible - that says it all.

As I recall (and 2007 was also my first pcm), it crashed constantly and I couldn't get past certain dates in the calendar (though I think that was fixed eventually).

Even after the patch I was reluctant to click through the calendar as that would often crash the game.

cycling manager 1 was the best

only problem was on a tough stage 120 riders could miss the time cut off Smile

cycling manager 2 was better AI than cycling manager 3 & 4 and pretty groundbreaking imo

I will never forget pcm 07, but 09 is cool.

I loved CyM4, getting the top 8 in the gc of the tour, and 150 riders withdrawing because Chipollini set the pace on a mountain stage Pfft

And I won the Giro with Petacchi. And the transfer system was great too, if you were lucky you could change a shitty rider for Casagrande or Boogerd.

?? I remember it being impossible to get Casagrande, which was a pitty cause he was godlike!

Klöden was very good and easy to get, and in general the transfer (swapping really) system was quite fun.

And I loved the straight roads, lol.

Had every game but CYM2, and 06 was probably the best
