from skates to wheels...;-)

Hi there

as i am a inline speedskater, i thought about implementing inline speedskating world cup teams into pcm....

https://yfrog.com/...

for those who don't really know what speedskating is (or never got overtaken by a speedskater while cycling around), inline speedskating is quite similar to cycling, with attacks, sprints, domestiques.....here's a little impression:

As cyclists, most of us detest rollerbladers. Something about having you feet spread out across nearly the entirety of a path and still not having any of the awareness of a cyclist or runner...

a few years ago, the world inline cup had a ttt. and because we don't really have a brake on our skates, we have uphill races onto the top of a pass or so, but without the downhill (that's another inline cytegory, inline downhill).

@ deadpool: you have to separate the hobby skaters from the speedskaters. speedskaters usually do a 30kph pace, so we sometimes also get upset about hobbyskaters who use the entire path and don't look back.

here a little video for those who can't imagine what a world cup inline race looks like: (bad music, nice pics)

btw: sorry for offtopic, next post will be a new jersey ;-)
