I suppose it would be too much to ask for a way for the game to automatically change arround stages for the big tours to make them different every year ?
So, is there a possibility to put your custom tours to use here easily ?
I´ve allready found a manual ( https://pcmdaily.c...ad_id=8905 ) of how to change stages but would like to have an easier choice with that custom tours ?
If that won´t fly : does it work the same way in career mode as described in the manual ? And can you use the Hannes Converter for it ? Or is it much easier with the full editor ? (haven´t looked at that one yet)
Would be kind of nice to change the tour and the vuelta a bit every year by replacing at least the mountain stages by stages from different races.
Greets,
Mario |

Some routes are already being changed automatically from year to year.
Anyway, if you want to add some, have a look in CM_Stages/variant. There's two kinds of files:
racename_rules and racename_version_descr
The first defines which variants the tour can use and when to announce the route change. The second contains all the details of the new stages. |

thanks, that´s great news for me and makes it easier for me knowing i´ll finish the first season shortly Basically means i won´t have to try my hands on editing here or at least have a good guideline for further tweaking, propably a good thing given my lack of attention to detail |

any idea as to when ? I´m kind of torn between participating in the Giro or the Tour as a 2nd GT and planning my season toward either.
But i would like to see first if the Giro is a bit flatter 2nd year than the 2009 version as i am mostly a sprinting team or rather would not want to risk burning out my few good mountain riders that are supposed to help Evans in the tour. |

If you check the files that I mentioned previously, the .rules-file has a part of it which says e.g. <rule month="4" year="-1"/>
This means that the particular race , in this case Dauphine Libere, is announced in the 4th month, April. |

sorry about that, great that you put up with us questioneers
Should have just waited a bit, since the Giro actually got announced on the 3rd of January ... And it is actually fairly sprint friendly, propably will make a go for it |
