Why not use the editor that comes with the game instead? Easier to use. |

although is does look friendly i cannot for the life of me work out how to save the files, if i need to save the cdb or the xml file, and what to name it, and which directory to save it to. i can never see the updated stats ingame. |

File->Create the CDB database-> name it as you want, then put in my documents/pro cycling manager 2009/database
In the game select the database and you're done! |

Well i dont know what im missing.
Here is what i do.
1. Open DB editor via main screen.
2. Load the custom.DB that appears when i select open cdb
3. Go to my rider and edit his stats
4. File>Create the datatbase and save in mydocs/pcm2009/database folder.
5. Select the new database i created ingame.
6. Go to start a new stage, i select my team and look at my riders stats and nothing has bloody changed!!!!
What did i miss? |

NO, every change has to be saved. (Except I am totally wrong, but most editors work like that) |

Ok still not working. When you say save every change do you mean change one stat then save xml file?
EDIT: forgot to mention it asks if i want to overwrite something when i open the editor. should i do this?

dont edit custom.cdb...
-edit OfficialRelease.cbd thats in your /program files/cyanide/pro cycling manager 2009/database folder
-then create the database and put it my documents/pcm 2009/database folder
-then start the game and click options and go to the last tab and select your DB and start your career =)
