i highly doubt it.
the hope is that armstrong and hushovd crash with 10k or so to go and cav wins the sprint, wiggins moving on to the podium. we can dream

My detest for English/British people on PCM Daily grows every day, due to quotes like that.
Hoping for crashes? Damn, sorry but you guys are sick. |

Seriously, i'm hoping maybe a guy like Cancellara/Ballan could break away and win?
or if that's not going to happen then it will be a fight between Thor Hushovd and Mark Cavendish and two or three others. |

Hey, not all of us think like that! No one should wish for an athelete to lose due to something like that. Seems like the spirit of honest competition goes out the window when there's a little patriotism to be had...think about what you're saying, people! |

Cav isn't unbeatable if the other teams can organise a proper train... So I am hoping that Cervélo can put up a good train so Hushovd can open the sprint, then it will be much closer between the two of them. |

Compare sprints of 99 to 2009... on Sporza.be there are videos of the Tour 1999. Every sprint you see not one train being able to pull the peloton into a single line.
Now they all sprint behind eachother and come in 1 by 1. In 99, there were 5 in a row or sometimes even 10.
Cavendish can win without a train, but the sprints would be closer contested if his train wasnt so strong it can pull the entire peloton into 1 line... |

welcome..
thank good it isnt Ligget and climbing stage. Today he has just to comment who is talking with who.. i belive that Ligget will take it over later...then they starting to praise Lance again..
Anyway..why this should like this.
Madden..retired commentator..but still managed to give objective comment even in he´s last season
Ligget ..sounding every year more and more like realy annoying person..(new level at 2009 TdF..I was first time forced to mute the sound)

I'm not hoping for a crash...
I hope he interferes with someone behind him and gets relegated.
But I'm not british either. |
