Hello everybody, I am currently starting a new career with Liquigas and I want to plan training for every rider as best as possible including decision who will participate in big tours. And my problem is, that most of my best riders have set in their prefered races Vuelta Espaňa, but for example i want Kreuziger in TdF. Does it somehow affects rider if he wont participate in a race he wants?
And my second question: How many race days should rider have before he starts some big tour?

I think the riders moral improves if he rides his preffered races, does not increase performance directly. I think.

I think max racing fittness started lowering with 60 race days, so max is about 40 days at the start of the GT.

I don't think that there's any negative influences by not taking him to his preferred race. However, he'll have a stat boost when he participates in his preferred races.
