The riders will be pretty use to this 40km criterium stage now - this is its 3rd occurence.
Steven Burke attempts an early attack

But that failed also and we are set to go down to a sprint. But 5km to go and crash! Rooijackers down - but so is Manuel Lloret!

Hochmann now down the centre
Van Heerden is really charging - but he has hit a dead end. Teammate Abdallah is blocking is path, and the South African is completely boxed in.
Hochmann has crazily stopped sprinting - Ben Swift takes advantage, powering round the outside

Priamo is 2nd, and Kunitski 3rd
And with van Heerden only 14th and overall race winner Sam Bewley in 15th, that win allows Ben Swift to take over the green jersey on this, the final stage.
A lot of teammates came back for Lloret, but he loses 1'41 and drops from 3 places to 6th overall.
And this is weird. Martin Elmiger crashed on the final turn but still crossed the line. But despite having crossed the line, he abandons the race.
