Problem Opening .CDB File

I'm trying to use the in game database editor (2009) to alter a rider's stats. However when I try to open one of the .cdb databases it gives me this message:
Microsoft .NET Framework
Unhandled exception has occured in your application. The system cannot find the specified file.
I have installed the latest .NET software and (after googling this message) the latest MDAC software. However nothing has helped. Any ideas? Thanks |

Downloading the latest isn't always enough. Make sure that you have this version installed:

Make sure you don't have any spaces or weird characters in the database filename. |

Thanks for all the help guys, managed to sort it after a few hours!! When I have altered all the attributes I have wanted to I click on file and "create the cdb database"? |

I don't know if it's needed, but click Save the XML file before clicking Create the CDB file. |
