I have a couple of questions(why isnt there a pinned FAQ thread?)
When you make a custom team, theres an "evolution of attributes". it's on 0.5, is that the best setting? Have anyone played more than a season with a custom team? because i thought about it, and at first it seemed that 1.0 would be the most fun, but then i thought about, wouldnt it just develop too many good riders too fast? Because the declining of riders is probable still the same, so if the riders top too fast you would end of with too many good riders, f.x. with 80+ in mountain. what setting did you guys choose?
Is there a guide where i can learn how to change the budget in the game(savegame editor)? I have read on this page that everybody says that Advanced Editor works with PCM 09, but how do i use it? |

From my experience...0,4 is maybe realistic but not too funny and 1,0 is too fast
I don't know about any guide...

It should be pretty self-explanatory once you open the editor.
Once the save game is loaded, open DYN_team, scroll across to finan_f_solde and change your budget to whatever you like. |

If 0,4 is realistic, but not fun? Then 0,5 is the same or what? It's just pretty shite that you have to choose, because if you make the wrong decision its too late?... or what? Pretty irritating if you have played several seasons and you discover that there are too many or too few talents... |

I play with 1.0 , because i am tired of too few talents and the same guys battling for the GC 5-6 years in a row , many talents=many strong teams = really hard to dominate a GC = a good fun when playing on hard |

It's not too late, thelonely. You can change your save game's setting with an editor. |

Is that the only thing? i just remembered that you used to change several things to edit the budget...
btw. do you know where i can see what races that are the "best". CTT races like tour de france(the ones you know) is the best, but what about all the other races? If you know it... and thanks for the help. You guys should really make a FAQ/QandA to all these stupid questions. |

finan_f_solde is the amount of money on your account. Of course, there's other things to change, but for most people, that column should be enough
I don't quite see the need for a Q&A for questions like "best" races - it's mentioned in the manual.
Pro Tour teams only score points in CTT/UPT races.
Continental Teams score points in 1.HC and 2.HC, then 1.1/2.1, 1.2/2.2.
(1 means classic, 2 means tour)

So the "best" races:
1. CTT/UPT
2. 1.HC/2.HC
3. 1.1/2.1
4. 1.2/2.2.
So with a small team, you shouldnt really bother with 1.2/2.2. races...

Well, first of all, most databases don't contain any 1.2/2.2 races.
Second of all, as a small team, you should bother about those races as the participation field (the riders), in theory, should be worse in those races than in e.g. 1.HC/2.HC races. |
