I'm not very fond of opening new threads, but I'm doing it because I quite don't get where should I put this discussion. Several days ago I tried Baseball Mogul 08, a baseball management game. I'm not very interested in baseball, but I found one thing particularly interesting: you can pick up a team in any year between 1903 and 2008, and the databases have the information of every historical baseballer during the whole period.
I thought it would be great if something like this could be put in a future version of PCM. That way, for example, your scout could be aware of an unknown Anquetil at the beginning of the 50s or a new belgian talent Merckx at the beginning of the 60s and so on.
I'm aware that it could be difficult, due to license problems and the huge quantity of information concerning cyclists, teams, races and equipment. On the other hand, playability could be an issue, because must players don't even finish 3 consecutive seasons, but, at least in my case, that is usually because I get quite confused with the new fictional riders during the new seasons so I prefere to start a new career with another team.
That being said, I think it's a good subject of discussion.

Get cracking on creating some 60 DB's. Then call us when you are done, then send them to Cyanide just in time for PCM2011 to be done. Then we'll talk. Good idea otherwise.
