I think PCM09 is a great game, it just has some really silly mistakes
Like:
1: Recovery doesn't have any noticeble effect when simulating stage races.
2: It's not possible to change riders attitude to aggressive before the actual sprint to get a good position. Also you can't see your riders energy while sprinting.
Is there an actual point in these things? I hope they will fix this sooner or later. |

Nothing consistently has an effect when simulating races. |

Btw.
Can someone tell me, without a doubt, which difficulty gives equal energy levels between PC and Player?
Normal or Hard? |

Normal
Hard gives the comp +1 in stats
and extreme gives -1 in your stats and +1 in AI's |

That's not true, well the second part of it anyway. The bonus/penalty is based on a percentage (not steps) and it's different for different stats. You can find it some table of the cdb. |

So the most realistic difficulty is normal, right?
I have played on hard the last couple of years and won severel tours, but if normal is "even" then I might just go back to that. I've experienced that I could win in the mountains, but somehow all my supporting riders fell off long before the AI's did. So I am always stuck alone with the captain which is rather annoying. |

That might not have anything to do with the difficulty. The pulse of the supporting riders is just way to high compared to the pulse of any rider who is riding with the "dot". |

Oh, yeah of course. Sry. I mean the regular free riders. They just loose their energy much faster than others at the same level. |

On hard almost all my riders are out of energy in the 2nd stage of the Tour Down Under, even the one with more then desend hill skills. :/. Its quite unrealistic that ppl like Barredo, Martin, Haussler are in A1 when someone like Boonen is still in P. So i prefer playing on normal, gives your moral a bigger boost and its also more fun and less irritating
