Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to get rid of the expansion pack without uninstalling the game?
I don't like the fact that all the bicycles are equally good |

why? you know that the bicycle stats have no affect on the race. But if you still want to uninstall you have to reinstall the game. But trust me Equipment stats make no difference. |

If this is so why do you have the option to buy new equipment (frames, wheels and helmets) then?
And why do you need to bother to select certain combinations to get the best star rating before a 3D race? |

Ask Cyanide about this, not us.
Edit: And to answer your question: Just use a different DB, and the stats will be back to normal.

Does this mean that there is no point setting up the equipment to give you a higher score for TT on a ITT stage, and that the game only looks at the individuals personal attributes and their form fitness when helping/ affecting their performance on a given race day? |

Does this mean that if I were to use say 'PCM Daily DB' then the equipment that you bought would change the effectiveness of the riders, or do you mean that their attributes will be more realistic? |

As said, the equipment makes no difference. For all it matters, yes, you could use standard equipment in TT stages - it wouldn't matter.
What matters is the rider's fitness, form of the day, nationality, morale, etc., etc. |

Thank you TrueCrue
I shall not bother changing the equipment or buying anymore in future now I know the position.
Is this likely to be changed by a future patch? |

Whose bike/wheel/helmet combo gives them the biggest bonus in real life?
What kind of bonus does the Scott Addict give over a 200km flat stage? Would Mark Cavendish ride it faster say, on one of Quickstep's Specialized bikes?
It's best not to even go there. |

I agree, but my point would be, why have an option to spend your budget on equipment that changes nothing, but gives the impression that it helps on different types of terrain/ stage? |
