First of, my game started crashing(failed to initialize)
2nd, my savegames have gone *poof*
Now i'm searching through all my files to see if a backup has been placed somewhere...STUPID! |

What happens is that when starting the game, it will create a new folder in My Documents/PCM called Databases - Backup. They should be there. |

Yeah, found the savegames. Whew!
Now to try and tackle this "failed to initialize" thing. I remember it happening in 08 when i upgraded my drivers.. gonna try and roll back my Nvidia drivers to earlier versions and see what happens. Will report. |

Well, i've got the thing working now. Official or not... It took launching a few times, moving some cdb files, setting options, relaunching, and now it runs... |

It seems to work fine for me. Even though I lost my save game as well (and won't bother restoring it, as I'm already playing a new career). |

Yeah it's in there, but I'm already playing my new game.
There's another thing bugging me though (same thing with the 1.0 game). I'm in the Giro now, but it seems like Astana isn't competing. Neither is Basso, Pellizotti, etc. Is that database (playing with PCM final) or is that the game that randomly choses it? Basically it's now Di Luca owning all and everything. |

There's a new feature in PCM which makes it possible for DB makers to decide whether or not Pro Tour teams should be forced to a race - like in real life where PT teams are bound to participate in a PT event, but not in a HIS event.
For the Giro and other HIS events, the PT teams decide whether they want to participate. In your career, Astana decided not to take part |

how can u tell if you got the 1.0.2.2 or 1.0.2.3 patch? Mine automatically initialized when i signed in yesterday to play my game.. Tried to recover old game.. isnt working, not worth it so i startd new career. |

I suppose I have to start a new career to get the patch "work"? Or will it affect the game even in savegames?
