It was interesting to note that Lance Armstrong raced in the Nevada City Classic wearing a Nike-Livestrong suit. While Leipheimer and Horner were in Astana gear. The sponsors have paid up the bank guarantee, but will the team be a single unit or a bunch of superstars with individual ambitions or loyalties. The Americans will stick together for sure as seen in the Giro where Lance nearly carried Leipheimer in certain mountain stages. So Zubeldia and Contador would be helping each other. Where would Kloden fit in? Last year he did a brilliant job of pace setting in the mountains for Contador in the Vuelta specially in the stage at Angiluru. He may back Contador being a former T-Mobile man and so on... But if the team works together in unison I don't see anybody beating them. |

Shouldn't this have been a reply to a thread, perhaps? |
