PCM database question

Hi guys, last night I installed the PCM database using the self installer then installed the v2.1 patch after it. But nothing has appeared in game, no equipment etc.
Do I need to do something further to get it to work? Had a check through threads and couldnt find anything.
Any help much appreciated

Crue would know better or someone who's used this .db more - but, have you selected the .db in the options part of the game?
(Maybe you don't need to with this version, though...) |

after installing it I went ot the options part to look for a different database but there was only the official one there.
When I installed it, everything went smoothly. Ive been into the folders and all the new bike textures etc are there. Just not in game. |

When installing, try to install it to a dummy folder, e.g. on the desktop. Then, when installed, move all the files to your main PCM-folder and try again.
If this doesn't work, install it to the dummy folder again. Go to the Database folder and copy the OfficialRelease.cdb to My Documents/PCM/Database and make sure to rename it to something else. Then open PCM and select the DB manually. |

it's just boring to always download and download... because i downloaded the pcmdaily database but then i read the installation readme, and it said that i need the latest patch and the latest patch is 300 mb at least... and the net here isn't the best you know... |
