I am trying to create a stage tracing over a map I scanned..

I've been following the stage editor manual but it doesn't seem to work:
The map is exactly 1024*1024, the map and the XML file are named the same with the right extentions each.

when I open the XML file using the editor it doesn't load the map..

what is the correct way to do it?

the map need to be saved as a bmp-file and be 8 bit.

The picture was scanned and saved as bmp.

8 bit isn't the size, is it? (sounds small)

The file needs to be saved as a 24 bit bmp file. Any other type doesn;t work for me. It may be the same case for you.
