the game is taking ages to load I installed the game on my d drive would it run quicker on the c drive?
When journalists at the Tour de France ask me if I am the best sprinter, I answer 'Yes', and that's seen as arrogance, but if they don't ask me, I don't say I'm the best sprinter in the world.

Acer aspire 5315. intel celeron processor 530 1.73 ghz, 533mhz fsb, 1mb l2 cach is that what you are looking for?
the game run fines until i go to play a stage it takes ages to load

Generally, it does take a while to load the stages. Never timed it, but probably about or over 30 seconds is normal for some stages. |

Last years loaded in about 30 seconds this one has taken about 5 minutes to load a stage.

I would say that loading is close to a minute on my computer, with 4gb ram and intel quad 2,4mhz.... |

I think I have 1gb of ram if i doubled that would it make a difference in the game loading speed.

You mention the D drive, is that an external harddrive? What is its speed (RPM)?

1gb ddr2
install on c drive a bit quicker not much though. When i came off the game a firewall pop up was up would me not putting pcm09 as an exception for the firewall make the game quicker?

Still need the name of your graphic card.
In general, your PC isn't very good. The processor is old and slow, and you only got one GB of RAM. No wonder it's slow. |
