I'd say the first thing that struck me is the sleek new interface, really like it! Only thing that bothers me a little is that i'm missing an icon next to a rider who is protecting another rider.
Another thing is that it seems to run much smoother than 08. I Dunno how that's possible, as i understand the engine is virtually unchanged. I get way more FPS in 09 than i do in 08. DB related?
Other than that, i've not played a whole lot yet. I did however notice that it seems to be a little harder to drop people in the mountains. I've played 3 mountainstages and it's been a group of 5-6 people at the finish each time. However, you do need smaller physical gaps between the riders for time differences to register. The differences are roughly the same as 08, but where 3 riders might have gotten "ST." in 08, you'll see them with small timedifferences now, which is nice. |

Hey Crue. Good to be back.
I'm kinda like that with gaming, i can only do it during some periods of the year due to work and the likes. But i fired my better half now, and vacation is coming up so :-)
'09 seems really good. Kinda psyched about it.. looks smoother and more polished than ever IMO. Hope the gameplay holds up, and there are no careerstopping bugs. |
