Ok, well I took a 6+ month break from the game. I am a mac person, but I run bootcamp for the sole purpose of playing this game. I swithced to a macbook with a lesser graphics card, so I can only simulate things. Oh well. It's forced me to pay attention to the planning side. I had some questions on fatigue, so I asked around and didn't get much of a response. I had the time, so I came up with a quick and dirty understanding of fatigue. Most of you probably already know this stuff.
This article was really helpful in understanding how fatigue behaves in relation to the training and at what levels your riders will begin to regain their form. https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_171105
I love the idea of being able to map your season's fitness for each rider. Lets you really nail down the key races and have a gameplan for each race. Using that bar graph, here is an explanation of the colors and the fitness that correlates to them. These are my best guesses, and my study wasn't incredibly scientific.
Blue = 55
Green = 60
Yellow = 65
Lt Orange = 70
Dk Orange = 75
Red = 80
**It is interesting to note that consecutive weeks tend to add 1 to the number. So 3 weeks in a row holding yellow should yeild 67 or 68.**
And as suspected, you can only race 60 days with a rider before their max value in race fitness begins falling. And unlike training fatigue, this cannot be undone until next season.
There really isn't much drawback to using a rider more than 60 days. The only key points would be for having guys with enough races left in their legs to handle the Vuelta and also for the WC's and Giro di Lombardia.
If you have studied this a bit and have better/different data let me know. I'm not opposed to making this as accurate as possible.
