The problem started after I did a bit of editing with Hannes Editor a few days ago. So I figured I could just reinstal everything all over. But no, I still get this message when I try to start my game.
Occasionally I reach the game's main menu, but right after clicking any option it crashes to the desktop and then there's the message again.
I have Vista, if that has anything to do with it. Which I doubt though since it was working fine up til the Hannes Editor thing.
Well I didn't edit a specific save game. I edited a database, if you can put it that way. But after un-installing the game I also deleted the PCM07 folder in documents, which should also have deleted the savegames.
Well, try this:
Go to My Documents and delete the PCM-folder
Open the Start menu and type in %AppData% . Find the PCM-folder and delete it.
Go to Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/Database and make sure your edited DB isn't there.
Well somehow eventhough I'm playing with the Daily08 DB it solved the problem to switch the default database to the official release one. And now it's working.
Doesn't make much sense to me, but at least it's fixed.

You've probably made some errors when editing your DB
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around
did you alter a savegame or the db
if oyu have altered the savegame , it has become corrupt. you can either fix or destroy it
if its the db, just reinstall the db
if that doesn't help delete the app data of pcm.
if that still doesn't work then there is 1 other solution
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
